Today I saw the previews to a movie that is coming in June. It's called The Happening and it is an M. Night Shaymalan (sp) film. It stars Mark Wahlberg, who I think is an excellent actor. This one looks a little creepy but not too much. It seems a little on the sci-fi side as well.

I think I remember seeing previews for this movie but I see so many previews a day I don't remember what it's about. I do think I wanted to see it though. I'm probably going to end up seeing it .If you end up seeing it before I say anything about it on here, definitely let me know how it went ! :)

This movie looks like something I want to see. It is about the fate of humanity coming to an end due to an apocalypse. Release date is June 13

My only worry about this movie is the fact that it's M. Night Shamalyan. I really enjoyed Sixth Sense. But it seems to me everything he's done since then has been a disappointment. Remember The Village? I think that was the name of it. It was horrible. The only glimmer of hope is that Lady In The Water was tolerable. Not great, certainly no Sixth Sense, but not as embarrassing or regretful as The Village.

I thought The Village was pretty good. Predictable ending, mind you, but it wasn't bad. The trailers for this one look good. I'd like to see it but I might wait for it to hit DVD.

The worst movie of the year! There was absolutely nothing in this movie people can enjoy, other than the deaths. The death scenes were good, but did block out a lot. Mark Wahlberg is my friend's uncle and I even told him that he could of done a lot better. The Happening's acting was very below average. I do not even recommend this for a rental. This is a movie that makes critics think again about their career choice. Skip this garbage.
