I was SO excited to see this movie the first time I saw the preview. It looks so good in the previews, looks like a movie that would be scary and keep you on your feet.
I saw The Strangers yesterday, completely disappointed. It was beyond horrible! It had a bad storyline, characters weren't the best choice, and worst of all WAS NOT SCARY. The only thing I liked about it was it kept me thinking, what's going to happen next, and even then it was pretty bad that it was predictable enough for me to guess every single thing that happened next, and I'm no mind reader!
Don't waste your money, you'll be sorry.

Thanks for the review of the film. I have to admit the previews do look great and that is probably how they got people in. I was going to go myself now I will not thanks.

LOL! you took the words right out of my mouth. I thought the movie was going to be great considering it was based off of actual facts. Come to find out the facts had nothing to do with anyone being murdered. The director wrote the movie based on his experience with someone knocking on doors asking if a certain person was home and then he would rob the homes. Balony!

One of the best modern horror movies! It has bad cover art, but knows how to scare. The ending is disappointing, but the characters are good, the script it simple, the only problem is the characters are given a shotgun. The movie was very well done and will scare the #$%^ out of you, guaranteed.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the move for what it was. The first time I saw it, I was in my apt with a bunch of people and was distracted. I thought it was cool, but didn't really scare me. I just watched it again with my cousin in my dad's home theater. No lights, windows, or distractions. It scared the hell out of me. I actually liked the ending. It just went from point A to point B. I think it was cool since that's not what you expect from Hollywood.
