I guess this is sort of a chick-flick as well, but it's mostly just a good story. I love Kathy Bates and Jessica Tandy and I like the growth of Kathy's character as she visits with Jessica's character and hears the story of Idgie and Ruth. I think it's time to rewatch this one.

I like that movie very much, and we have it on DVD.

I don't get hung up on the term "chick flick" personally, but I guess I know what you mean.

I watched this movie at the $1 movie theatres that play midday movies when it came out many years ago. I loved this movie back then and recently watched it on lifetime. I still like the movie.
