Whats the deal with Stallone making these comeback movies in his 60's ? First there was Rocky Balboa and now this one. I admit though that the trailer actually looked pretty interesting:

You might as well ask Harrison Ford why he's coming back as Indiana Jones in May after 19 years; he's also in his 60s. Thing is, there's more of an interest in Indy than in Rambo because the latter series got sillier with each sequel.

I agree about them getting more sillier. Still, the first two Rambos were so good that I am willing to give this one a try. And the trailer looks spectacular but then again don't they all?

First Blood was good. Not as dark as the novel it's based on, but it was interesting.

The second was, eh, okay. Some bits were good, some not so good.

Third one was unnecessary. It was as necessary as Rocky IV, which pretty much ruined that series for me.

Agreed on the First Blood. It is very good. And as the series went, Rambo became the kind of character that was like invisible to the bullets and could never get hurt. I wonder how much new action can Stallone bring in in the new Rambo.

Yes, "First Blood" was great. I am definitely gonna check it out. He looks like he really worked out and got into the role. I am thinking (hoping) this is gonna be a great flick.

I found that cartooning-of-Rambo effect most distressing. I thought the first movie was fine and realistic. It even tried to make an important point about what would happen if the Vietnam War somehow came to the U.S. in some way.

The others were just exploitative BS.

Oh, I am sure that Stallone can bring in a lot of action into this one. Supposedly, this one is bloodier and more graphic.

But "bloodier and more graphic" don't make a film better, and I'm sure not gonna waste my time or money on this retread. At least Indiana Jones has better behind-the-scenes talent than Rambo.
