It was funny but I just thought it was going to be the fall out of your chair laughing kind of funny and it was not. It was more of a romantic drama and had a few really serious scenes. I would recommend it, but just don't go in thinking it is just a crude comedy movie.

I liked it. I also like 40 yr Old Virgin. I think it was the same director on both films. I wish Steve Carrel would have gotten a bigger part in this one but Seth Rogan handled the lead better than I thought he would.

I thought the movie was ok but why did they have to show the live birth? What was the point of leaving that part in the movie. It also seemed a wee bit far fetched. How many girls that pretty and successful would really end up with a slacker/loser like him ?

The reason I did NOT like this movie was something that you mentioned MovieGirl. I thought I was gonna go in and fall on the floor laughing. Instead there were some funny parts but it was too dramatic. I may have enjoyed it more if I was prepared for all the drama.

I think that was part of the appeal of the movie for so many "average" looking guys. It is something I am sure the majority of them have dreamed about doing and here it is in a movie form right in front of them. As far as the birth scene, beats me. I guess to just to add some effects to that scene.
