I wasn't sure at first which genre this movie belongs to, but all the sources say Crime/Drama. Anyhow, I had a hard time getting through this movie, and after watching the ending I don't think I can ever watch it again. I usually love crime movies, but that kid, Anton Yelchin, did SUCH a great job that it was like I was right there, and it is just hard to stomach. I do give props to all the great acting, except for maybe Sharon Stone.

I have to hand it to Justin Timberlake though. He did a better job than I originally thought he would have. The movie itself, well, I did watch it through its entirety but I wasn't too impressed (except for the acting, Emile Hirsch was amazing as well). The movie seems to focus more on how stupid and rebellious the kids are, and not much on the case itself. And it was almost like watching it from the outside. The characters never got too personal, not even the victim. If the acting wasn't so splendid, I would give it an F. But because there were so many talented kids acting their butts off: C- .

I would have never personally rented this movie on my own. A friend rented it and we watched it together. I thought it would be boring but found I actually enjoyed the movie.
