When I saw the previews for this show, I didn't think I would like it. Then after I saw an episode, I knew for sure that I didn't like it. Yet it is one of the most popular shows. What gives? I'd rather watch Jeopardy.

I think what Fox is banking on is the "just folks" appeal of the show's host, Jeff Foxworthy. Otherwise, I have no clue as to why this show is a big hit.

I think Jeff Foxworthy is one of the reasons it's a hit along with kids they bring on. The other main reason as adults we want to see what we can recall when we were is school. Many people play along just to see if they can get the questions right as well.

I enjoy this show. since, I am college educated it is amazing to see how much less I know than a fifth grader. In fact I use the verbage "are you smarter than a fifth grader" in day to day life now.
