I really love this movie. I have always wanted to travel, and seeing Bill Murry and his reactions to being in a foreign world is interesting. I also like the relationship and reactions he had with Scarlett O'Hara. The acting is quite brilliant too.

I haven't seen this one yet but I keep hearing so much about it. It isn't subtitled is it ? I doubt it but I think that was what stopped me at first from watching this one because I wasn't too sure.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of (maybe) bad news, but Lost in Translation does have sequences that require subtitles, since some of the characters are either Japanese or Germans who are in Tokyo. Scarlett Johansson really does a nice job as Charlotte though. Watch it, subtitles or no!

Most of the movie is in English. There are a few scenes where Japanese is spoken, but it is few and far between. It's very easy to follow.

(Yawns) .....I don't get this movie. I don't get why it was up for Academy Awards. It happens to be one of the most boring Bill Murray movies I have ever seen. He should stick to things such as Caddy Shack and Ghostbusters.

I actually liked him better in Stripes and Groundhog Day. It's when he attempts "serious" stuff (like The Razor's Edge) that he sometimes stumbles.

Are you sure we are talking about the same movie here? True it can be dull if you are looking for an action/adventure movie but the movie itself is brilliant when it comes to dealing with relationships and life in general.

This movie never looked interesting enough for me to rent. For some reason it struck me as a stupid movie, and I always pass it over.

Some people don't get into this kind of movie, I guess.
I love watching Bill Murray, including his role in this movie. I also enjoyed the special features on the DVD that describe the challenges they had making the movie, and Bill talking with Sophia Copella.

I haven't seen this one. Maybe I should go check it out one of these days. Maybe when I have a free rental. :)
