Can anyone tell me why this crappy movie is at #1 in the box office right now? I can't stand the show and I just can't see how a whole movie would be any better. Are kids really brainwashed or what ?

Hannah has exploded on the scene and there's not much we can do about it I guess. These kids are hard to figure out. My 6 year old likes her but she doesn't know why. I think its safe to say though that this movie won't be in the top spot for too much longer. Kids get bored pretty quick.

Maybe so, but because the concert tickets are so high, this is like the next-best-thing-to-being-there.

Disney is pretty clever at marketing; when the initial commercial on TV aired, it said, "Now Showing for a Limited Time Only." Usually, that's like 10 days or so....but now the company is extending the movie's run in theaters.

I agree with leedug, kids get very bored quick. One minute they love spongebob, the next hannah montana. Every new thing it seems that all the kids are in love with it. It really won't last long. But, honestly being an adult, I actually like one of hannah montana's songs "See You Again", it gets you pumped up :)

My kids love Hannah Montana and right now she is hot. I personally do not see hwat the big thrill is, but for kids she has what they like and until that dies out she will be popular.

It is not a hot movie for us adults but for our children. My 6 year old is in love with her music, clothes, and hair. She loves to dress up like her, dance like her and sing like her. So of course it was what she wanted to do more than anything was to see the movie.

I have always believed that she believes to be brutally tortured. There is not a doubt she is the new Lindsay Lohan.

Mily Cyrus/Hannah Montannah is absolute garbage.

i have only seen a few shows of hers so i would not know but, she does seem annoying.
